Sensational Suffolk

Suffolk is England’s eighth largest county, so it’s a surprise that some of its courses perhaps slip under the radar when it comes to discussions on the best golfing areas in England. The situation, however, is starting to change and rightly so. There’s excellent golf here, with four of the county’s finest clubs now jointly extolling their virtues via the new Suffolk Coastal Golf Initiative.

Organising a golfing tour?

With many hotels across the area, you can either contact the clubs direct to work out your own itinerary or use LeisureLink Golf Holidays, the preferred tour operator to organise everything for you.

Something for everyone

All four courses also have 9 hole facilities open to the lesser experienced golfers and all provide excellent tuition facilities for beginners.

The area of outstanding natural beauty has some wonderful visitors attractions for the non-golfers including Sutton Hoo, RSPB Minsmere, Orford Ness and Castle, Snape Maltings and Aldeburgh Music, 5 Estuaries, scenic towns and villages across the region.
